MEX saw Black business owners as a B2B audience segment that has been underserved with strong growth potential. As part of AMEX’s “Backing Change” initiative to uplit these owners with financial resources and education, the challenge was telling unique stories that cut through the noise.
We created the CAMPAIGN & SOCIAL STRATEGY + MESSAGING through a host of exclusive content pieces (photography & video) for organic & paid social featuring the initiative’s lead talent — actress, writer, and producer, Issa Rae. Utilizing our regional INFLUENCER network, we secured LA-based minority small business owners to be featured in the campaign.
